Day 1 of Disneyland and 1 broken tooth

October 19. 2012

Matt and I was the first to wake at about 4 in the morning and got ourselves ready and then we went and woke the boys up.  Dylan was so excited! which is good because I was worried about waking him up so early because he does not like to 1. be woken up and 2. being woken up early.  The flight went well, we had to stop in Oakland but we didn't have to get off the plane and then off to L.A. we went.  5 minutes after getting off the plane, Dylan fell and broke his front tooth along with getting a fat lip.  I didn't know he had broke his tooth in tell we got down to baggage claim and I was looking him over.  I started crying.  I couldn't help it, I felt so bad.  We met Matt's parents at the airport (they had driven from Pleasanton to L.A. earlier) and they were going to drive half of us to Disney and the half was getting in the rental car.
Once at Disney, we all took our time and rested some and got ready to go to the park.  Friday night was special because we were attending Mickey's Halloween Party.
Which meant that we all got to get in our Halloween costumes and go around the park riding the rides and trick or treating which started at 7 p.m.  Dylan was a fireman and Luke was part of the Swat Team.  I really didn't have a costume so I put on pace paint and Matt went as a SF Giants baseball player.  The boys really didn't want anything to do with the rides.  They were so tired from the long day and would cry when we were in line for a ride but would stop as soon as the ride started.  (Honestly, I was worried that whey would be like this all weekend)  It was neat because as you walked through the park they had trick or treating stations set up where you would get several hand fulls of candy.  We got so much candy that we might not need to buy candy for the trick or treaters that will be coming to our door.  After a few hours at the park my parents took the boys back to the room and Matt, Logan, Joan, Daryl and myself closed the park at midnight.  (The lines were not long at all)
Here are some pictures from the 1st day.

Look at my score!!!!
