Last Day in Napa

March 10, 2015 - Tuesday

Our last day in Napa, which really means packing and driving 2 hours to the Oakland airport.  I am really grateful for this trip Matt planned for our 10 year anniversary.  It's what we both needed!!!  Our plan was to head out early so we could have lunch with Joan and Darryl at In-N-Out by the airport.

Wine Tasting

March 9, 2015 - Monday

You would think we would have been doing more wine tasting but today was the first time this trip.  We went to Laval Vine and received some entertainment while tasting.  A fun place to go! And of course we hung out by the pool again.

And Away We Go!

March 7, 2015 - Saturday

Our 10 year anniversary is coming up and Matt had decided to whisk me away to Napa where we first honeymooned.  So that is why I am now trying to play catch up with blog since I was gone for a few days.  My parents were kind enough to watch the boys for us while we were gone.  Task to get done while in Napa..... RELAX! And that's what I did and it is the most relaxed I have felt in a very long time.

Spring is Here Already!

March 6, 2015 - Friday

With us having such a great winter, spring has decided to come early.  So all the flowers are starting to pop out of the ground and the trees are starting to bloom.
I got the boys Dutch Bros smoothies (peach/mango) today and they seemed not to be able to put them down because they were so yummy!
Luke decided to get him self dressed today.  He picked out his entire outfit, put it on, and came downstairs to show me.  He was so proud of himself.  And it all matched!!!
The boys in the car on the way to drop Homer off at the Vet for the weekend.
And a game of Candyland to end the day with.

A Day of School and Swim

March 5, 2015 - Thursday

A normal day for us today.  Luke had school and Dylan had swim lessons.  I'm pretty surprised how much Luke likes school.  I really thought that it would be a huge struggle to get him to class but it hasn't.  He doesn't like to sit at the table to color or work on worksheets at home but he doesn't have an issue when it comes to doing stuff like that at school.
Picking Luke up from school today.  They were walking into school from playing on the playground.  Luke was so excited to see me standing there.

Waiting in line to go inside.

Dylan is doing pretty good in swim lessons level 2 when he chooses to listen.
Teacher had to put Dylan on timeout for not listening again.

And We Are Back!!!

March 4th, 2015 - Wednesday

I love looking back at all of the older post from 2 years ago and I really wish I had kept up with posting.  So here I am posting again.  The boys have grown so much since my last post.  Luke is about to turn 4 in a few weeks.  He's in preschool (a caterpillar), taking swim lessons and about to start his first team sport of T-Ball.  Dylan turned 5 this past December and gained the 5 year attitude with it.  He's in Pre-K (butterfly), also taking swim lessons and about to start his second year of T-Ball.  Both boys will be on the same team with their daddy coaching.  So it will be very different for me when it come to the games.  I will be sitting all by myself watching the game without having to worry about entertaining Luke. Sounds kind of nice but it's sad at the same time, they are growing up and I am not needed as much :-(

Here are a few pictures from today.  This winter really has felt like spring for us.  We have had no snow, no ice and hardly any rain.

The boys playing with bubbles.

The boys new best friend is Lily.
She's our next-door neighbor who just turned 2.

Luke right about to start his swim lesson this morning.

I also would like to post a random picture from the past two years to kind of make up for the large gap between the post.

Disneyland
October 2014
This was the first trip to Disney that the boys were even interested in taking pictures with the characters.  Started with Goofy and then we had to stop at just about every character that the boys spotted.
